	A survey on rising tide of diabetes mellitus in a Chinese population
The study on logistic regression analyses, advanced age and low monthly household income showed a rising trend of diabetes mellitus in a large Chinese population and a strong association between population demography and diabetes

	Screening for drug use disorders among adults in primary care
Screening, brief intervention, and referral for treatment are feasible and effective in primary care settings, provided that screening is available, along with brief interventions and treatment facilities to which patients can be referred and treated promptly

Primary Health Care is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing an overview of human research on substance abuse which includes the contents geared towards behavioral, psychological, genetic, neuro-biological, and pharmacological aspects.

	Primary Health Care: Open Access is using online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems for quality and quick review processing. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Primary Health Care and Medical Informatics or outside experts; at least two independent reviewer’s approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.
